EFFECT OF THE PROGRAMME MODERNIZATION OF AGRICULTURAL FARM TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURE IN PODLASKIE VOIVODESHIP IN 2007-2013 YEARS

Abstract

The purpose of the research was the analyses of EU funding of the modernization of farms in Podlaskie Voivodeship. The study proved that in the years 2007-2013 marked degree to raise, modernized farms. Built and modernized over 45 thousand m² farm features nearly 550 thousand m² of agricultural infrastructure and purchased more than 162 thousand pieces of equipment farmyard. The investments implemented under the measure Modernization of agricultural holdings were mainly to increase the scale of production, improvement of farming and animal breeding and to increase farmers awareness of safe and health work. It was found that EU aid has significantly contributed to improving the structure of farms in Podlaskie Voivodeship.
