Abstract

The article attempts to analyze legal acts regulating drivers' working time in relation to
their practical application. The considerations were based on the experience and opinions
of entrepreneurs and employees from the TSL (Transport-Forwarding-Logistics) sector.
Summing up the considerations made in this article, it should be stated that for some
companies the regulations included in the Act on drivers' working time and the Labor
Code regarding driver's work will be a significant limitation, for others it will be a good
thing that will provide them with adequate work comfort. It is assumed that working time
regulations affect the improvement of safety and social conditions of drivers, and at the
same time force transport agents to properly plan transport processes.
