Abstract

Failure to meet the deadlines for the performance of construction works contracts usually have
serious consequences for participants in the investment and construction process. Proper recognition
and identification of significant factors affecting the non-completion of the performance of public works contracts allows for an objective assessment of the investor and contractor. The paper presents
an econometric model with the help of which the reasons for delays in the implementation of
construction contracts concluded on the basis of the Public Procurement Law are specified.
