FORMAL REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYING OF DRIVERS IN ROAD TRANSPORT

Abstract

A candidate for the position of the driver is required to meet a number of formal requirements when applying for a job. First, it must complete the appropriate prescribed statutory age, which in the case of drivers employed for the transport of persons or goods by road has increased by three years compared to other drivers. Second, it must obtain a driving license in the category, which will entitle him to drive. Getting a driving license category for the carriage of passengers or goods by road, requires far more skill than getting a standard driving license category B. Thirdly, the candidate for the position of the driver must undergo
a mandatory qualification course and also occasionally participate in periodic training, the positive completion entitles you to continue to work as a driver. Fourth, the candidate must pass a series of compulsory health tests and psychological, which scope is much broader than the scope of research which are subject to “ordinary “ employees. Author in the article describes
and analyzes in detail legal requirements for candidates who want to work as a drivers in road transport.
