Abstract

In view of the fact that one of the objective of development strategy in Mazowieckie Province is to redeem the difference betwen the subregion in the range of economic and social developement, the author proves, by using selected indiacators, that theidea of sustainable developement in Mazowieckie Province is not realized. In the years 1999 - 2007 the differences have deepened in the level of developement between ostrołęcko - siedlecki subregion and Warsaw.
