MENTORING AND ACADEMIC TUTORING TRAINING IN QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN HIGHER EDUCATION

The introduction of mentoring or tutoring to colleges will be able to accelerate efforts of quality management in the education of students and most importantly, enter the path of continuing self-education student. The author of the article considers that the most effective approach may be students mentoring and tutoring. The university in which it will be provided, will have the major impact on the challenges of the economy, based on the knowledge like the quality of education enabling students to comprehensive development. Article treats mentoring and tutoring, as an institutionalized system, based on master-disciple relationship, which could face a challenge of creating leaders for the future economy and therefore supported on the quality of education directly based on knowledge. The introduction of mentoring or tutoring program was designed to support the education process at universities. The article describes the functions and importance of mentoring and tutoring, and their present use.
