Abstract

The consumer expects from food safety to health, reasonable prices, availability and desired attributes for sensory acceptance. As the health benefits in food safety, consumers indicate, nutritional value, caloric value and nutritional value. The aim of this study was to identify factors that determine food choices and an important was to determine what are the attributes of consumer health-oriented foods, how to identify them when shopping, and what are the expectations of consumers surveyed health-related attributes to the type of food offered on the market. The research shows that consumers about the qualities of food are among the most healthy products such as enriched with a high content of fiber and supplemented with beneficial bacteria, and fewer articles with reduced sugar content and fat or reduced sodium content. The content of nutrients, or a positive effect on the body are popular with all the qualities consumers regardless of age and education.
