Abstract

The objective of the survey was to recognize factors determining alternative incomes development with particular regard paid to non-agricultural activity. Socio-economic traits of entrepreneurs were investigated. The motives of starting new activity were presented. It was found that farmers rarely use advisers help and take advantage of European funds in small range.
