THE ACTIVITY OF FARM OWNERS IN ACQUISITION OF FUNDS DERIVED FROM EUROPEAN UNION

Abstract

The purpose of the article was to present investment activities supported by the European Union. The study was conducted on a group of 30 farms in the county Olsztynek. The study used a survey method and a diagnostic survey. Poland has become a beneficiary of direct payments and funds with membership in the European Union. Thanks to integration agricultural competitiveness in international markets has improved. A large group of farmers modernized and adapted farms to the
standards of the European Union. Moreover, the equipment with modern machinery and equipment and modernized farm buildings has improved.
