The possibility of market development of energy crops in Poland was indicated in this work. In the course of analysis the tabular, graphical and descriptive methods were used. In the study the cost effectiveness of energy crops in Poland with particular emphasis on hybrid poplar and willow was counted. The analysis shows the main sources of renewable energy in Poland are solid biofuels, liquid biofuels, wind and water energy. The market energy for plants has a chance of development in Poland and its effectiveness can be high in case of appropriate policies at local and national level. The charge level is the highest in the early years of cultivation. Growing poplar provides higher efficiency compared to willow.
