Abstract

The conditioning of milk market development was presented in the paper. The article presents conditions for the development of the milk market in the world. In the process the collected data analysis methods were used in graphic and descriptive. The research shows that milk production in the world is growing. The result of these changes is the increase in milk consumption to 109.6 kg per person. Self-sufficiency rate was the highest in 2013 in Oceania, North America, Europe and South America. Central America, Africa and Asia received index below 100, which means that they are not self-sufficient regions in terms of milk consumption needs. World milk prices are varied. FAO indicator for dairy products has decreased in 2013-2015.
