DATABASE APPLICATIONS IN PLANNING AND PROCESSING OF FARM PRODUCTION

Abstract

Agriculture, as one of the most important branch of economy, is supported more and more intensively with using information technologies. One of examples is database applications which support the owners’ farm work. Due to using them, both farm profits can be maximized and the time of farm work can be reduced simultaneously. The survey research was conducted in 2014 in the district of Lomza and by people willingly given answers to a questionnaire online. The tested group covered 98 participants who are owners of their farms. Most of them have known database applications, a large group of tested people use applications to their every day work. The farmers who use database applications noticed the rise of their profits and were interested in getting more information on them.
