CLUSTER ANALYSIS AS AN EXAMPLE OF THE ASSESSMENT OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The article is an example of the use of cluster analysis in the assessment of regional development. We used two methods of cluster analysis: using the Ward's method belonging to the hierarchical agglomeration method and the method of k-means. Based on data for 2,014 years have been grouped into classes typological provinces.
