SUPPORT OF NON-AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITY IN RURAL AREAS IN RDP 2007-2013 AND 2014-2020 – ANALYSIS AND ESTIMATION OF SITUATION

Abstract

The paper presents non-agricultural activities in the context of the implementation of the RDP 2007-2013 and selected activities in the new financial perspective 2014-2020. There were used statistical data from the CSO in the paper. In the RDP 2007-2007 non-agricultural activities were in priority axis III, which on the basis of the synergies associated with the fourth axis “Leader”, functioning in the sphere of the human factor in agriculture. For this purpose allocated 3,572.7 million, representing 20.8% of EAFRD means. However, in RDP 2014-2020 actions related to non-agricultural activities were represented mainly in Action "Bonuses for start of non-agricultural activities", which replaced the existing support for micro firms and (only slightly) the action "Diversification into non-agricultural activities." Therefore, there is real concern that smaller support capabilities may discourage farmers to undertake and develop non-agricultural activities in the coming years.
