INFLUENCE OF THE MEMBERSHIP OF STATES IN THE EURO ZONE ON BASIC MACROECONOMIC INDICATORS

This article attempts to answer the question whether accession to the euro zone guarantees the improvement of macroeconomic indicators. The study used four indicators: changes in GDP, unemployment rate, changes in exports and wage developments in industry and services.
To answer the question analyzed the charts of selected variables, mid-term rates of change were counted as well as Czekanowski’s diagrams were deleted.
