Abstract

The evolution of economies makes the change of determinants of socio-economic development. The innovation has become more and more popular in recent years. The article presents that innovation will not be a high level grow without a high quality of social capital and its important component - the cooperation. The article presents that a high quality social capital and its important component - the co-operation improve the innovation. The aim of this paper is to present selected issues of innovation and an indication of the relationship with social capital as an important determinant of innovation. The paper presents one component of social capital, ie. cooperation and its impact on innovation.
