ROLE OF UNION FUNDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL COMPANIES IN POLAND

Abstract

A social enterprise is an institution aimed at realization of social goals. This article show the role of EU funds in the development of social enterprises. In the article, the following test methods: analysis of the literature in the field of social enterprise, analysis of source data relating to the functioning of the EU funds. The development of social enterprises to a large extent determined by the level of support from EU funds and their evolution indicates the importance of corporate social-down in the development of local communities. Article points out the framework and dynamics of EU funds as a source of financing social enterprises.
