Abstract

The goal of this paper was to get to know the structure of entities operating a telecommunication business and the dynamics of change in this new and dynamically developing area of public services. Secondary data from reports and registers of the Office of Electronic Communications was used in the studies.
As it has been observed, a growing number of telecommunication entrepreneurs in years 2010-2015, as a consequence:
- is beneficial to growth of competetiveness in the telecommunication market, and in the long run has a positive impact on the prices of the offered services,
- creates demand for contractors of all kinds of jobs connected with the offered services and for essential materials necessary for their production,
- benefits the promotion of modern mass media and development of wide range of telecommunication services thanks to the new technologies that are being introduced (construction of telecommunication infrastructure from basics),
- Contributes to the generation of new range of services , which were previously not availible on the market.
Registered telecommunication entrepreneurs represent almost all forms of managing economic activity, including commercial law partnerships, foundations, associations, local government units (budgetary companies of these units), civil partnerships, etc.
