The paper presents the results of the empirical research evaluating work environment (chosen elements) and an attempt to identify the factors which shape and influence on the level of Employee Relationship Management (ERM). The research was carried out in the organization representing the passenger rail carrier, in the group of 91employees. The study used the following methods: a questionnaire survey, participant observation and analysis of documents.
