Abstract

The aim of the article is to evaluate spatial diversification in the use of resources as well as the impact of the resources in measure "Diversification into non-agricultural activities" RDP 2007-2013 on the development of farms and rural areas. The basis of the research was 205 rural and urban-rural communes in Podlaskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeships. The results were regarded to external conditioning of the agricultural development: natural, historical and the level of socio-economic development. The data from ARMA, NAC 2010, and LDB [Central Statistical Office] were used.
The research proved very strong spatial diversification in the use of resources as well as influence of resources in discussed measure. The positive assessments concern mainly southern-east parts of the analyzed voivodeships. There were not any projects realized in 12 communes. The distinct leader in usage of the funds turned out to be Janowiec Kościelny commune.
