The article analyses the construction of the Young Farmer Payment Scheme, which is part of the First Pillar of the Common Agricultural Policy, and the range of decisions made by the EU member-states with respect to this instrument. Apart from that, the member-states have been grouped according to the implementation variants referring to individual issues concerning payments for young farmers. The article also presents the significance of this instrument of support in Poland.
