Abstract

Bookmaking is a very popular issue, but in Polish scientific literature often overlooked and rarely analyzed. This market has a very specific character, which makes it an interesting research subject, among others, because of the power of the gray market. This article focuses mainly on the supply side of the market. The development prospects of the market were evaluated using the methodology of creating point predictions. It was found that the betting market has a great development potential, as evidenced by the forecasts. It can generate even greater profits for bookmakers and players as well as for the state budget.
