In the article were presented the changes taking place in the Common Agricultural Policy and social attitudes at regional level in the context of the idea of sustainable development. The study was showed on the basis of secondary data in accordance with the OECD's assessment methodology and questionnaire surveys. It shows that changes in agricultural policy were directed
towards introducing the principles of sustainable development. Similar attitudes and consumer attitudes can be assessed. Their decisions were increasingly determined also by social and environmental factors.
