Abstract

Since the late 1960s, more and more attention is paid to the issue related to environmental protection, typing in the assumptions of environmental policy in the concept of sustainable development, not only at the management level of the given state, region, but mainly at the municipal level. The aim of the study is to determine the possibility of shaping the sustainable development of the municipalities based on selected municipalities of the Łódz region.
