The aim of the article was to present the various forms of internationalization of companies, as well as to present mergers, acquisitions and strategic alliances as important strategies for entering foreign markets. The market for mergers and acquisitions across borders and changes taking place on this market has been shown. It was stated that managers worldwide plan to grow their businesses primarily through strategic alliances, fewer managers would choose to merge and take over national and even less mergers and acquisitions across borders.
