INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL TRAINER – 2 ROLES, SIMMILAR COMPETENCIES?

Training as a developmental tool could be realized by internal or external trainers. The article describes these two roles and analyses the competencies for them. As the transfer research is blooming in XXI century, the study analyses the knowledge of Polish internal and external trainers in this area. Based on two article – meta-analysis from 2010 and assessment of transfer knowledge of US trainers - the questionnaire for this research was constructed, and objective and subjective measures of competencies were used. The questionnaire study, based on c.200 responses from internal and external trainers has showed relatively similar competencies level of both groups, contrary to literature. Practical advises and conclusions are provided.
