THE ECONOMIC SITUATION OF RURAL COMMUNE OF MAKOWSKI POVIAT

Abstract

The aim of the article is to assess the economic situation of rural communes in the county of Makowski at the end of 2016. The study uses figures derived from studies of the Ministry of Finance and data from the financial statements of individual municipalities for 2016 positively evaluated by the Regional Audit Chamber. The level of financial health was determined using the non-standard method of the synthetic indicator based on selected values of selected budget indicators and liabilities. It was confirmed that the financial condition of communes depends on the specificity of a given commune - its functions.
