Abstract

The author attempts to evaluate the process of decentralization of Police work against the background of the Community Policing philosophy. The essence of this philosophy was presented and then the processes of liquidation and reactivation of Police stations in Poland were characterized. The basic thing is to point out the premises that indicate the legitimacy of establishing police stations and their further functioning.
