A "HOT" WORD OF MODERN POLISH HIGHER EDUCATION: DO STUDENTS PREFER AN AUDITORY WAY OF LEARNING?

The aim of this study was to investigate the preferences of Polish students in the way of learning in lectures. The paper provides an answer to the following research question: "How to teach" Polish students in conditions of modern Higher Education?
The main research methods were questionnaire survey, statistical processing of questionnaires, verification of statistical hypotheses.
Statistically proven that Polish students do not prefer the auditory way of learning in lectures. They prefer the visual way of learning in lectures. The result is very highly statistically significant (99.9%). The result is a "hot" word of modern Polish higher education. The result of the study may be useful at the input stage of the reform of Higher Education in Poland, including for the formation of training programs for scientific and pedagogical staff.
