THE LABOR MARKET IN CITY SKARYSZEW

Abstract

The article discusses the issues of unemployment on the basis of a given labour office. The aim of the study is to present the situation of the unemployed inhabiting the area of action of the Poviat Labour Office in Skaryszewie. The definition of unemployment was characterised along with its kinds and types. During the analysis of the research problem, domestic literature and statistical data was used to depict the scale of the phenomenon of unemployment on a given area. The time span of the research were years 2016 and 2017. The authors conclude that during the researched period the situation on the labour market in Skaryszew improved which was caused by smaller numbers of the unemployed and more forms of help offered to them.
