Abstract

The natural environment, which is the basis of human functioning, is constantly changing, mainly as a result of human economic activity. The article assesses the 21 districts of West Pomeranian Province in terms of environmental status. Classification carried out in order to diagnose the state of environmental protection in West Pomeranian Voivodeship, or obtain an answer to the question, in which the districts of the state of environmental protection at the highest level, and where the situation was worse. Tested counties were divided into four groups typological. The article uses data from the Central Statistical Office of 2007 and 2014.
