GLOBAL INTERACTION IN THE SCIENCE AND EDUCATION SECTOR: UKRAINE'S POSITION IN THE WORLD SCIENTIFIC NETWORK

Abstract

The article examines Ukraine's global engagement in the research and education sector, in particular its position in the international research network. The study uses analysis of OECD data, geographical distribution of graduates using LinkedIn, and GIS tools to map international interaction. The results show an increase in the number of joint scientific publications with Poland, Germany, the United States, and China, and also identify imbalances in the distribution of Ukrainian graduates by region and country, with the highest concentration in developed countries of North America and Europe, and the most popular specialities being information technology, management and administration, humanities, and engineering.
