Abstract

The article explores the role of emotional intelligence in effective leadership. Emotional intelligence is viewed as the ability to manage one's own emotions and understand others' emotions. Its importance for managerial functions such as planning, organization, motivation, and control is emphasized. A high level of emotional intelligence provides leaders with a competitive advantage through their ability to create harmony within the team and offer support. The article also highlights the link between emotional intelligence and leadership creativity, which aids in conflict resolution, generating new ideas, and enhancing productivity.
